The differences between the book and movie version of Matilda.

Recently I watched a movie called Matilda and today I’m going to write about the differences between the book and the movie versions of it. The first differences are things that Matilda does. In the first part of the movie she uses magic and breaks her families’ television. Matilda also puts superglue on her father’s hat at his work in the movie but in the book she puts superglue on her father’s hat in the cloakroom.

The next difference is that there is no ghost part in the movie. If that part was in the movie I think it would be very fun. The fourth difference is that in the movie Matilda didn’t practice writing something on the blackboard with her magical powers.

The last difference is that the movie is faster than the book. I think the book version is better than the movie version. However, I enjoyed both the movie and the book. Now I want to read more of Roald Dahl’s books!
